This project consists of 400 LF of existing 24” RCP along 6th St, from N Church St to N Popular St, will be rehabilitated through pipe bursting methods. Two work pits will be excavated, one at the corner of 6th & N Church St, and the other at 6th & N Popular St. The project will require road closures at 6th & N Church St and 6th & N Popular St, and 1 lane closure along 6th street. A new stormwater junction box will be installed at the corner of 6th street and N Popular St.
This project is bordered by Speer Boulevard, West Tyvola Road, and Yorkmont Road. The drainage system is open channel that was a previously stream restoration project. This project will repair one of the previously restored channel reaches.

Work will involve mobilization, earthwork, drainage structures, storm drain pipe systems, channels, working over, under, near, and around existing private utilities, asphalt paving, concrete flatwork, and landscaping and any associated work required by the Engineer. Other work may include structural foundation protection, storm water pipe lining, storm water pipe joint and structure repair, water, and sewer (relocations, installations and adjustments). Storm Water maintenance work may be located entirely within or a combination of the street right-of-way, private, residential, and commercial properties.
