The Company shall supply quality, trained professionals to properly diagnose, test, disassemble, clean, and/or replace OE parts as needed and reassemble. The Company is required to use genuine Meritor parts and employees certified to rebuild the differential. To help reduce turn-around time, the Company shall keep one differential (per part number) on hand. The Company will be required to return the reconditioned item or items to our facilities within twenty-four (24) hours of pick up.
This solicitation will be for the purchase of approximately (5) LPG powered paratransit buses.
BOD (Bus Operations Division) requires a goods contract to purchase OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) MCI (Motor Coach Industry)/New flyer parts
Purchasing: 2 – Ford Transit vans or Chrysler minivans (preferred) with BraunAbility for Bus operations

Bus A/C and heating parts. Various parts are required for the on-going maintenance and repair of the CATS (Charlotte Area Transit System) bus fleet air-conditioning and heating systems on the Gillig and Trolley bus types.
A new contract will be needed for future paratransit bus purchases. 10 vehicles are estimated to be purchased in the first year. Specifications will be provided in the solicitation.
