Morris Field Bridge Replacement
This project will replace the bridge on Morris Field Drive between Wilkinson Boulevard and Golf Acres Drive, over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.
University Research Park Sidewalk
This project will install sidewalk and multi-use paths in three locations within the University Research Park area. Locations will include a 6′ concrete sidewalk along Medical Plaza Drive between Harris Boulevard and Mallard Creek Road, a 12′ concrete multi-use path from the intersection of David Taylor Drive and Claude Freeman Drive to the intersection of Governor Hunt Road and David Taylor Drive and a 12′ concrete multi-use path along Claude Freeman Drive from the intersection of David Taylor Drive and Claude Freeman Drive to the first business entrance at the Left side of Claude Freeman Drive. (10330 David Taylor Dr). This project will also install curb ramps, retaining wall, curb and gutter, extension of 3 culverts, concrete headwall, pedestrian lighting and related works.
Sardis Rd. N (Sardis Rd to Rittenhouse Cir) Sidewalk
This project will provide new sidewalk along Sardis Road North from Sardis Road to westernmost intersection of Rittenhouse Circle and Sardis Road North.
I-85 North Bridge
This project will construct a bridge over I-85 to directly connect Doug Mayes Place and Louis Rose Place. This will relieve congestion a the WT Harris Blvd/ I-85 and Mallard Creek Church Rd/ I-85 interchanges.

Monroe Road Streetscape
Improvements on Monroe Road between North Wendover Road and Eaton Road to create a more pedestrian-oriented corridor and install a pedestrian hybrid beacon in front of Time Out Youth Center. Improvements will primarily include shared-use paths, drainage, and midblock pedestrian crossings.
Tuckaseegee Rd (Little Rock Rd to Westerwood Dr) Sidewalk
This project will fill in gaps in the existing sidewalk system on the south side along Tuckaseegee Road from Little Rock Road to West Mecklenburg High School, and along the north side of Tuckaseegee Road from Burkholder Road to Toddville Road.
Idlewild Road and Monroe Road Intersection
This project will improve the Idlewild Road and Monroe Road intersection to enhance conditions for all users. Improvements will include pavement widening to accommodate dual left turn lanes at all intersection approaches, bike lanes or multi-use paths, pedestrian refuge islands, and new sidewalks.
