Overflow Lots 1 & 2 Asphalt Patching Construction

This project will consist of Asphalt Patching in Overflow Parking Lots 1 & 2.:
1. Approximately 7,500 SF of Asphalt Patching at 2” Depth per NCDOT Standards
2. Approximately 3,200 SF of Asphalt Patching at 10.5” Depth per standard below.
Include a line item for Place and compact 6” ABC Stone, as needed, estimated at 100 Tons.
These areas will be identified/confirmed on site prior to commencement of work.
Parking Lots will be empty and clear of vehicles during this work.

Backlot Trail Phase 1

This project will install a 10-foot asphalt path that connects Park South Drive to Park Road. This will include two pedestrian signals.

DeArmon Road Improvements Project

The DeArmon Rd Improvements Project is part of the City of Charlotte’s Prosperity Village CNIP. The project will complete the infrastructure needs in the neighborhood by providing buffered bicycle lanes, median/turning lane, storm drainage, curb & gutter, sidewalk and a greenway passage beneath DeArmon Rd for the future extension of Clark’s Creek Greenway.

Brown Grier Road Upgrades

This project will widen the 2- lane road to a 4- lane median divided road with multi-use paths between Steele Creek Rd and Whitehall Park Dr., and a multi-use path north along Sandy Porter Rd. to the subdivision at Williams Glenn Rd.

Kilborne Drive Streetscape

This project will improve Kilborne Drive from the Eastway Drive intersection to just South of Havenwood Road. Improvements include painted buffered bike lanes, sidewalk, ped crossing medians, traffic calming and street trees. Project connects to the Central/Kilborne/Norland project South of Havenwood Road. (Project length= 0.9 miles)

Asphalt Taxiway & Runway Improvements (Construction)

This project is related to on-going maintenance and repair project for asphalt pavement around the Airport’s Airfield, including runways and taxiways. The typical scope of work involves milling and resurfacing heavily-used areas of runways and taxiways, which will usually involve working during night-time hours, in order to minimize impacts to Airport Operations,
