The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requires the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) to inspect all light-rail bridges, elevated stations, walls, and culverts and stay current every two years. There is also a 5-year inspection cycle for all parking decks. CATS is seeking a contractor to perform these services under a 6-year contract.
